Golfchefs.com is a lot more convenient than any other conventional chefs association. You spend the time at your convenience, just go online and you can reach the whole world. Take the advantage, no politics or traveling required.
We needed some research and traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada, Palm Springs, Los Angeles, Monterey Peninsula, San Francisco and Napa Valley, throughout California and up the coast. We visited some chefs and F&B managers from different established Golf courses. As it turned out, there was quite a bit of interest and excitement for the idea.
With your support we can make it a worldwide success for all chefs and F&B managers from different Golf and Country clubs to: trade jobs, share information, etc.
If you are the Executive Chef or F&B Manager in an established Golf and Country Club, this is THE place to make your mark on the internet! We have a password protected system, so this site is an essential, where the best food professionals can meet their peers, gather golf club info and news and learn from other experts.
The more support we get, the more we can offer and you can provide advice and benefit from the Knowledge gained from others.
Golfchefs.com is a non-profit online association, which was created to provide a worldwide vehicle for the exchange of ideas and trends, as they pertain to golfcourse chefs and Food & Beverage managers. Our job bank is specially designed for employment in the F&B department in clubs.
The fundamental idea of golfchefs.com was established in the 2000, by a group of experienced golf course executive chefs from the Okanagan; who realised that no matter where in the world a golf course chef works, we all face the same challenges, and share many of the same interests. The fruit of their labour resulted in the creation of a website where chefs, and managers can exchange information on: Food and Beverage Trends, Marketing Ideas, Menu designs, Recipes, and many other aspects of golf course food and beverage operations.
The golfchefs website has since been providing access to this information for Food and Beverage personnel at member courses worldwide. The site is a work in progress, and as such new items are added through out the year, including: e-mail updates, online polls, contests, F&B job bank, nutrition tips, links to other sites of interest, historical food facts, job descriptions, etc.
With continued support, it is hoped that golfchefs will become a worldwide success, and a networking site for all Chefs, and Food & Beverage managers worldwide. However, the benefits of golfchefs can only be realised through continued support and input of all our members. Remember, that knowledge, insight, and evolving trends can only be gained if we share our collective visions, and expertise!
